I’ve read that political affiliations correlate strongly with heredity. I wonder if something like a belief in free will versus a belief in predestination also correlates.

I reread the previous post about Thor and Martin Luther and it strikes me that something as deeply felt as my hatred of fate is irrational. That is, I may justify my belief in free will post priori, but I’m not going to arrive there unless I hold certain principles or inclinations or world-views beforehand. I’ll add this to the things I need to research.
