Turns out Geico did not notify the body shop of the change in date after all, but the shop was flexible anyway. And the receptionist at the body shop – Kauai Collision Service – gave me a ride over to the car rental agency.

Still a very pleasant experience. It’s weird to drive something that shifts its own gears and is so close to the ground. So this is what convenience feel like.
